While this is quite an entertaining little film, it has an identity issue; how can the weakest aspect of this romance film, being the love story between the two central characters? I was actually quite involved in the mystery plot line; even though it requires leaps of logic from time to time, overall it was well rounded and entertaining. However every time when the film switches to its romance mode, I just groan in disgust at its clumsiness and absurdity. And this is supposedly based on a romance novel from Harlequin, I don't get it.
No fault to the actor though, whom clearly has great chemistry; beside, who wouldn't want to admire those deep, green eyes of Rob Stewart? He definitely fits the mold of the male idol from a romance novel.
Full set of caps, pretty please!
