Aaron Kwok in After This Our Exile (2006)
A breakthrough role for this famous Chinese singer-turned-actor, Mr. Kwok completely sheds his sexy, contemporary image for an unsympathetic gambler/ father in this family drama. Being someone who has seen his previous cinematic efforts, this is definitely a pleasant turnout; he has totally let the character grown and flourished within him. One thing that didn't change though, is his beautiful torso; long been known for his physique, (and he is never afraid to showcase it throughout his music career) the film takes every appropriate opportunity revealing the copper skinned body- it's a win/win situation for the viewer, beautiful film and a beautiful leading man.
