Brett Halsey in Four Times That Night (1972)
Many people have compared this film to Rashomon(one of my all time favorite!), in term of its narrative structure; a singular event told to us from four different perspectives. I was looking forward to see this formula being applied in a contemporary (well, as in the 70s), European setting. However I was slightly disappointed by the end.
Probably just due to my personal taste, as I always have issues digesting European productions of the past; could be the horribly dubbed dialogs, sometimes dragging pace and often unsatisfactory resolution.
Mr. Halsey has a beautiful face, though his physique slightly less so. Nevertheless there are some great scenes to be enjoyed here, especially the shower scenes! The architecture of the washroom is probably completely unpractical, but certainly made for some creatively handled shots!
