I would not call this a film, more like a dream (nightmare?), because of the lack of a coherent plot or narrative. What it is is a chain of dream sequence, weaving from one to the next by a female protagonist. There are some truly arresting imagery to be found here, however in term of cinema it is really not a rewarding experience.
Americo Coimbra plays a truly insignificant role here, not even a character name is given to him. (IMDB credits him as "The crucified actor.") He only appeared in two scenes throughout the film, which are all in the screencaps above. But what a seductive scenes they are! (However, calling his demise in the film anticlimactic is an understatement- for an Italion giallo his death scene is more than swift.)
