Thanks to the availability of DVD, I got to see a lot of gems (or craps) that are mostly ignored by mainstream audience. This is such a case.
Jeff Lester, whose acting resume basically stopped at 1992, is such a lost treasure; this guy is gorgeous! The gold hair, the blue eyes, the sculptural face... really this is quite an eye candy.
And the director knows it too! The film features numerous scenes where he's either shirtless (in bed, showering, making out...you name it.) or having his shirt opened. If you like what you are seeing on the screen right now, go find your self a copy of this film!
...But be warned the movie itself is really half-baked. As a sci-fi thriller, it starts out promising enough, very intriguing in the middle: you have no idea how the filmmakers would wrap all the plot threads up... and they did not. The lost 10 minutes really ruin everything that came before. A shame really, beacause with a different conclusion, we might have a cult classic in our hand.
