I love this movie! this is an example of a 60s sci-fi done right; outlandish concept, interesting visual, and quirky dialogs. If there's one thing to pick on, it would probably be the ending; feels a bit rushed after all the build-ups.

It is nothing grand, the effects are just alright and the set is limited; but the protagonist is engaging and the writer actually spend time to generate interesting events and a more reaching concept than what's typical of films with this budget. Really, maybe I'm easily satisfied and old fashioned, but I don't need dazzaling effects to fall in love with a movie. (In fact, many of today's CGI extravaganza bores me to death!)

Beside, Paul Mantee is a cutie! The screencaps do not fully do him justice, (though his body is wonderful too! Look at the fur!) it is his voice, and the way he carries himself that complete the whole package.
